Owning a woodenbike will almost guarantee your young child will become active and mobile. As a result, we wish to highlight the importance of safety and encourage you to read our safety guidelines coming with the bike carefully. We would like to reinforce them here to ensure you and your family have a safe and enjoyable experience.

• Early Rider woodenbikes are classified as toy vehicles and should not be used on or near public paths and streets.
• Only one child should ride the vehicle at any one time.
• Explain to your child how to brake and stop the bike by using his/her feet.
• Maintenance checks of all aspects of the bike, including checking the tightness of screws, should be done regularly. If the bike is damaged in any way, do not allow your child to ride it until affected parts have been repaired.
• The bike should not be ridden without wearing an approved helmet and other appropriate safety equipment.
• Do not use without parental/adult supervision.
• For your child's safety and the safety of others, use extreme caution at all times.
• Do not let your child use the bike on a sloping area or steeply sloping sidewalk. Do not use in areas with obstacles, trees or traffic.
• REMEMBER – Your child is riding at an age where he/she does not have the capacity to make decisions regarding safety. As an adult supervisor, practice extreme caution at all times.
